This is Alphonse’s personal drum kit and hardware. This whole package would have cost around $18381.08 brand new, but that doesn't even include the gold hoops what would have brought it up a bit more. The two bass drums and four toms are numbered 1-6 of six. The snare was ordered separately and is model #M1455, but it has the same red sparkle wrap and gold plated hoops as the rest of the drums. We can’t find any videos of him ever playing both kick drums at once, so we are guessing he used one or the other depending on the gig, but we are including both to use in whatever way suits you! We are also including 7 gold plated DW cymbal stands, one gold DW 9500 Hi Hat stand, and 2 gold DW snare stands because they are very expensive and we wouldn’t want you to have to buy brand new ones if you want all your hardware to be gold. If you don’t need all of the stands, or don't want both of the bass drums, we can certainly negotiate a lower price. Just shoot us a message.

Alphonse was often seen playing these drums with a second snare, which is why there is a second gold plated snare stand. If you would like to own that snare as well, it is the HS1450 and is currently still available for purchase separately. We also have some of his other snares and his cymbals for sale in addition to numerous other pieces of his gear.

the drum set is in pretty good shape, and most of the bearing edges are flawless. The gold plating on the hardware has some wear as seen in the photos, and the shells have a few scuffs. I will note any damage in further detail in the drum descriptions below:

For some reason the bearing edge on the smaller club sized bass drum is in rough shape. I think it must have been used without that head, maybe for miking purposes, and got beat up along the way.  The beater side has yet to be checked, but I will report that soon.

The larger bass drum had a small gouge in the wrap that’s in between the size of a pencil eraser and a dime, but it has been filled with epoxy and red coloring. There was some old duct tape adhesive on the drum and now there is a patch of small scratches there from the removal process. It has a Canopus ported head on resonant side and an Evans Level 360 dampened head on the beater side. The dampening ring holder has seen better days, but it’s still functional. This drum also has the Evans EQ Pad drum muffler inside. The bearing edge on the resonant head side is almost flawless, but you can feel some very small dents on it that I imagine are too small to affect the sound. The beater side has yet to be checked, but I will report that soon.

The toms and snare all have flawless bearing edges and normal wear and tear.

The cymbal stands are in good shape, with some minor wear to the gold plating, and there is a little bit of rust on one of them.
