Alphonse Mouzon was a jazz fusion drumming legend. He was an influence to many famed musicians such as Questlove of The Roots, and John Bonham of Led Zeppelin. In addition to touring and making about 20 albums as a solo artist, Alphonse was a founding member of Weather Report, and he recorded and toured with an extensive list of some of the biggest names in music. Alphonse passed on an impressive collection of vintage instruments and gear to his family, and they have decided to sell much of it through Astound Sound.

This amazing classic electric piano sounds great and looks great. It seems to be a 1983 model according to the date code, but I’ve been told the lid is not correct for that year. It does have some tears in grill and tolex, and one tear in tolex that has been glued. (See photos) We will have better pics up, showing the tines and hammers soon.

Since this is a super heavy item it will probably need to be freight shipped or picked up, so contact me about getting a quote. We do also have Anvil road cases for both the cabinet and keyboard, which the the seller wants sold separately. Let me know if you are interested in those as well.
